Lithuanian Language and Culture Winter Course 2025

For many years, the Education Academy of Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) has been offering intensive Lithuanian language and culture courses. These courses provide a wonderful opportunity for anyone wishing to immerse themselves in the study of the Lithuanian language and culture.
The courses are held twice a year – in summer and winter – and run for four weeks. They are open to participants of all proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced learners. From the very first day, participants focus not only on grammar and vocabulary but also deepen their understanding of the subtleties of Lithuanian culture and history.
Feedback from participants shows that the courses attract people from all over the world – from the United States to Australia, from Scandinavia to South America. This diversity of countries and cultures greatly enriches the learning experience, as participants not only study the language but also attend a series of sociocultural lectures and share their own cultural perspectives.
Schedule (Monday – Friday) 2 Lithuanian language class per day 08:30–10:00; 10:30–12:00
In addition: two or three sociocultural lectures or excursions per week
Evening groups (17.00–20.00 pm.) may also be organized if there is sufficient demand.
